Pipeline Engineering Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Pipeline Engineering Lead to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support in the Engineering and Design processes for oil and gas pipelines.

  • Develop and support FEED and Designs studies including detailed design calculations;
  • Develop and support the development of scoping documents such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria and alignment sheets;
  • Participate and support in Risk assessment & SMS workshops;
  • Proactively communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget;
  • Ability to manage and track single-discipline projects;
  • Preparing and supporting cost estimates, equipment summaries and tender packages;
  • Writing technical reports as required.
Requirements

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering degrees is essential. Minimum of 8 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines and associated assemblies is also required.

  • In-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations and codes related to the pipeline industry;
  • Engineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (current or eligible to attain).
