Clinical Lead Position

The Clinical Lead role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to provide leadership, support, and direction to clinicians within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Virtual Health Clinicians (Registered Nurses and General Practitioners working across the GP Helpline and Healthdirect/NURSE-ON-CALL helplines)
  • Develop and implement strategies for planning and coordinating services relating to specific client groups or patient populations in the practice setting
  • Act as a role model in delivering high-quality care to patients or clients in the practice setting
  • Contribute to the management of action research projects and participating in quality assurance programs and policy development within the practice setting

To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively, a commitment to upholding high standards of patient care quality and compliance, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments.

Requirements:
  • Must be located within Australia
  • Registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare system and maintains an unrestricted registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrates a contemporary knowledge and experience of Healthdirect Virtual Health Services
