As a Production & Distillery Equipment Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our distillery equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the production of high-quality spirits.

This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. You will be responsible for operating and troubleshooting complex equipment, maintaining accurate records, and leading a team to execute projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain distillery equipment, including brewing, fermentation, and distillation processes
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory levels, and equipment performance
  • Lead a team to execute projects safely and efficiently, meeting all quality specifications and deadlines
  • Provide training and coaching to junior operators on equipment operation and maintenance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g., chemical engineering, process control)
  • Previous experience in a similar role or relevant industry (e.g., manufacturing, food processing)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

The nature of the business and work environment may affect individuals who are prone to allergies. Availability to work a flexible/rotating schedule. Weekend shifts may be required. Ability to work ten and twelve-hour shifts as needed. Working with cleaning chemicals, flammables, hazardous wastes, dust and fumes, acids, and caustics. Work with hot materials, steam and, at times, a wet environment.
