Job Overview:
Tirriwirri School is a specialist educational institution catering to students with diverse needs. As the Assistant Principal Learning and Support, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to teachers and students alike.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to join our team as we continue to provide innovative learning solutions for students with complex needs. As the Assistant Principal Learning and Support, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to teachers, school teams, and communities of schools. Your expertise will help facilitate access to professional learning, skills training, and current research, enabling us to stay at the forefront of educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement adjusted educational programs tailored to meet the unique needs of students with additional learning and support needs.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance their knowledge and understanding of disability legislation and Department of Education policies.
* Provide proactive face-to-face support to students and teachers across multiple schools within the Queanbeyan Principal Network.

Selection Criteria:
* Successful teaching experience with a proven track record of initiating improvement in teaching, learning, and classroom practice.
* Expertise in curriculum, assessment, and student welfare, with the ability to design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs.
* Strong educational leadership skills, including building capacity and managing performance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage stakeholders.
