Editorial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Editorial Manager to join our team at Richmond Football Club Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production and delivery of high-quality content that delivers exceptional fan engagement.

This includes developing annual content plans, overseeing social media content management, publishing digital content across various platforms, and analysing user trends to identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual content plans and game day coverage for AFL, AFLW, and VFL programs.
• Oversee social media content management and calendar, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Publish and oversee digital content across desktop, mobile, and app platforms.
• Manage staff performance, set goals, and foster a strong team culture.
• Analyse user trends to identify growth opportunities and enhance fan engagement.

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification (Digital/Communications/Marketing or similar).
• At least four years' experience working in the digital industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing people and teams to achieve results while supporting engagement and wellbeing.
• Experience using a variety of CMS/digital platforms.
• A broad understanding of AFL and the sporting industry.
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in digital marketing, engagement, and measurement, and the ability to implement strategies that will drive business outcomes.
• Adaptability to work in different and changing environments.
