About the Role

WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is seeking experienced Consultant Physicians - General Medicine to contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare across our regional hospitals. As a Consultant Physician – General Medicine, you will undertake direct clinical care of patients, supervise the work of Registrars and Junior Medical Officers (JMO's), and be involved in teaching junior medical staff as well as undertaking safety and quality initiatives.

About the Pool

Joining the Consultant Physician General Medicine pool means submitting one application to be considered for multiple positions across WA Country Health Service (WACHS) throughout its duration. You can specify your preferred locations and availability with your application. Applications submitted via the Pool will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Once assessed and if found suitable, our team will reach out to discuss opportunities tailored to you.

  • Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie Hospital
  • Great Southern region – Albany Health Campus
  • Kimberley region - Broome Hospital
  • South West region – Bunbury Health Campus & Busselton Health Campus
  • Midwest region – Geraldton Health Campus
  • Pilbara - Hedland Health Campus and Karratha Health Campus
  • Wheatbelt Region - Northam Hospital and Narrogin Hospital
