About the Position

We are seeking an experienced ICU Staff Specialist to join our team at a leading tertiary hospital in the Northern Territory. As a critical care physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our intensive care unit.

About the Facility

Our hospital is a principal tertiary hospital in the NT, providing a broad range of referral services to the local urban population and surrounding regions. With over 400 beds and a staff of around 1,700, we serve a population of 180,000 and perform over 14,000 operations annually.

About the Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration
• At least 12 months recent experience at a Consultant level in ICU
• FCICM or eligibility for the FCICM
• CICM training program
• Competent Authority Pathway eligibility (UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ)
• CICM interview date
• Assessment by CICM and found to be partially or substantially comparable
