We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to support students and families in North Queensland. As part of the Wellbeing Workforce, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health and wellbeing assistance.

About The Role

The focus of this role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. You will work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance wellbeing and mental health support available to students.

Responsibilities Include
  • Provide individual and group counselling and therapeutic interventions with students, parents and families.
  • Administer psycho-educational assessments of students with learning difficulties.
  • Coordinate professional training programs for teachers, parents and professionals.
  • Support school communities in responding to critical incidents and emergencies.
