We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our manufacturing engineering efforts.

  • This role involves overseeing the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance Departments, driving strategic planning, engineering projects, and technical innovation in the manufacturing space.">
  • You will be responsible for coordinating engineering projects related to process improvements, equipment upgrades, and new installations.">
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance programs should minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability at optimal costs.">
  • Budget management for maintenance and engineering projects includes procurement of equipment and spare parts.">
  • Compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations is crucial, promoting a culture of safety in all engineering activities.">
  • A key focus area will be driving continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to enhance plant efficiency, reduce product manufacturing costs, and the environmental impact of operations.">
  • Mentoring and developing engineering staff is essential, fostering skills development and succession planning.">

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.">
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience.">
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams.">
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, equipment maintenance, and process engineering.">
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methods and six-sigma certification is advantageous.">
  • Knowledge of OH&S Act and ISO standards.">
  • Experience in managing Capital investment projects.">
  • Skill in developing and controlling expense budgets.">
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products.">
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.">
  • Assertiveness, proactiveness, innovativeness, tenacity, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential.">
