About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join our team at Intrax. As a key member of our engineering services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hydraulic and fire services for commercial building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients on matters relating to engineering services
  • Work on a diverse range of projects, including commercial, residential, retail, local government, office fitout, and industrial projects
  • Provide design and documentation of hydraulic and fire services for commercial building projects
  • Develop specifications of hydraulic and fire services
  • Be involved in project planning and utility applications
  • Sign off on hydraulic designs
  • Manage multiple building services hydraulic and fire designs simultaneously
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Services or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
  • Minimum 7 years local Australian experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Australian standards in relation to mechanical engineering design
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, Hyena Software Calcs, and Standard Microsoft Tools
  • Excellent client communication and liaison skills and an ability to convey information accurately
  • Registered building practitioner or/and Chartered professional engineer status would be an advantage
