Job Overview

The Health Professional 4 Clinical Lead role is focused on delivering leadership to create an integrated multidisciplinary team that provides effective service delivery and possesses a strong skillset for leading through change.

This position will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and allied health assistants who deliver services to clients of the Child Development Service. The incumbent will maintain a clinical load, undertaking duties including administration, coordination and oversight of professional practice, and supervision and performance management of a team of physiotherapists.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • At least five years experience delivering Physiotherapy services, with a high level of expertise in early intervention
  • Current Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current Australian Driver's license Class C

Cultural awareness and capacity to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are highly desirable. This role may involve working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the multidisciplinary team to provide effective service delivery
  • Maintain a clinical load while undertaking administrative, coordinating and supervisory tasks
  • SUPervise and perform management functions for a team of physiotherapists

Essential Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Experience in Physiotherapy with expertise in early intervention
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Current Australian Driver's license Class C
