About the Role:
  • Lead a team of support workers in delivering safe, structured and nurturing care to vulnerable children and young people.
  • Closely collaborate with clinical teams to implement evidence-based therapeutic models.
  • Develop staff coaching skills, manage complex behaviors and build trusting relationships with residents.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work / Welfare, Social Sciences or equivalent.
  • A deep understanding of child protection frameworks and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Strong administration, risk management and compliance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of professionals working directly with children and young people who have experienced complex trauma.

• Develop strong administrative and risk management systems to ensure seamless delivery of services.

• Build trusting relationships with residents, families and other stakeholders.
