About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at McGrathNicol in Canberra. As a key member of our cyber team, you will play a critical role in assisting clients with their cyber security needs, including risk assessments, threat intelligence, and technical advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive cyber security risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Develop and implement effective cyber security strategies and programs to enhance client resilience.
  • Provide expert advice on cyber security best practices and compliance with relevant standards and frameworks.
  • Assist clients with incident response and recovery from cyber incidents.
  • Contribute to the development of cyber security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with our team members and clients to deliver high-quality solutions and services.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree or similar qualification in a relevant field, such as computer science, information technology, or cybersecurity.
  • Have a strong understanding of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on cyber security risk management and threat intelligence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Australian citizenship and current security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
