Operating Theatre Specialist

We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses with experience in Operating Theatres, Day Stay, or the Patient Assessment Clinic to fill a casual position within our Peri-Operative team.
Cessnock Hospital is a 64-bed healthcare facility providing emergency, surgical, and medical care to our growing community. Our Surgical Services cover a wide range of elective procedures, including General, Urology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedic, Dental, and Endoscopy.
Key Responsibilities:- Theatres operate Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:30pm
- No late evenings or weekend work – ideal for a healthy work/life balance
- Shifts are typically 8 hours, with two shifts scheduled per day
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Experience in Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, or Recovery required.
- Desirable: Experience in Day Stay Unit or Patient Assessment Clinic (PAC)
