Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Clinical Care Manager to lead our aged care facility in the Northern Rivers suburb of Ballina, NSW. Located just 20 minutes from Byron Bay and an hour from the Gold Coast, this role offers a unique opportunity to inspire excellence in clinical care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background in aged care, with a minimum of 10 years' experience as an RN and at least 3 years in Aged Care. They will also have prior experience as a CCM or Acting CCM (ACCM) and possess excellent leadership skills, including mentorship and guidance for clinical staff.
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, plus attractive salary packaging opportunities. Our benefits package includes 3 months' free accommodation, provided in a 2-bedroom unit suitable for families and small pets. The role is initially offered as a 12-month contract with potential for permanency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Facility Manager - Clinical, leading the clinical team in delivering top-quality care. Key responsibilities include:
- Mentorship and guidance for Clinical Care Coordinators and Registered Nurses
- Setting clinical priorities, managing daily staff work plans, and overseeing resident intake processes
- Supporting new clinical staff through a structured Employee Embedding Program
The position also involves quality improvement initiatives, including conducting audits and maintaining high standards in care planning, medication management, wound care, dementia support, and palliative care.
