About the Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management is seeking experienced Utility Workers to join our Village Management Team to provide relief coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the west of North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that designated work, service and living areas are held to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Follow Cleaning Policies and Procedures
  • Achieve completion targets within allocated timeframes, respond to timely ad-hoc cleaning requests
  • Housekeeping of Residents rooms within the Village environment as per schedule; stripping and making beds, removing, and replacing linen/towels, cleaning ensuites and all ablutions
  • Minesite Cleaning of Site offices and facilities, crib rooms and all ablutions
  • Transportation of Residents to / from Minesite
  • Completion of Vehicle Pre-Starts and required Safety Reporting / Compliance
  • Maintenance of a Clean and Tidy vehicle
  • Village Waste Management
  • Grounds / Utility Maintenance
  • Assist other departments from time to time, if required
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have previous cleaning experience and be highly organized, possessing strong time and priority management skills. Additionally, experience driving light vehicles with passengers around Site with a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times:

  • Australian Working Rights
  • VALID C, MR, HR License, including Passenger Authorisation
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
  • Previous experience at a Village preferred
  • The following experience / qualifications with Camp Facilities such as First Aid, Certificate III / IV Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, HRWL (LF), RSA / Approved Manager, ARO Certification and Cleaning (desirable)
