Job Summary

Tree Care Specialist: We are seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Tree Worker.

As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for trimming vegetation around powerlines, managing debris removal and chipping, and felling trees from the ground or using an Elevated Work Platform (EWP).

This is a demanding yet rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to safety, physical fitness, and a determined work approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vegetation Management: Trim trees and shrubs to maintain safe clearance around powerlines.
  • Debris Removal: Manage and remove debris after tree felling and pruning operations.
  • Tree Felling: Fell trees from the ground or using an EWP, taking care to minimize damage to surrounding property.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate equipment such as chipper and EWP in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Physical Fitness: You must be physically fit to work in various outdoor conditions.
  • Pre-Employment Tests: Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug, and alcohol tests.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • White Card: Hold a current White Card (General Construction Safety).
  • Truck Licence: Possess a HR or MR Truck Licence.
  • Chainsaw Experience: Experienced in chainsaw operation.
  • Cert III in Arboriculture: Hold a Certificate III in Arboriculture.
