About the Position

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Mental Health Emergency Consultation and Support (MHECS) Clinician in our multidisciplinary team. As part of this team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering emergency mental health consultations, assessments, and support services to individuals experiencing acute mental health crisis.

You will work closely with our on-call consultant psychiatrist to develop plans to assist, support, and guide emergency department clinicians in managing mental health consumers' risk, medications, and ongoing care.

  • Collaborate with the on-call consultant psychiatrist to develop comprehensive plans for mental health consumers
  • Work effectively with emergency department clinicians to manage mental health consumers' risk, medications, and ongoing care

  • A minimum 5 years' experience working in the Mental Health profession
