Lead Digital Archivist

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive the ongoing development and implementation of our digital preservation agenda.
Key Responsibilities:- To develop an in-depth knowledge of the current and future needs of our digital collection.
- To provide high-level support in relation to digital preservation formats, associated metadata and standards.
- To design and implement new methods for managing complex digital records.
- To work with IT staff to oversee and test the ongoing effectiveness of our digital storage solutions.
- Degree in information studies, archival or conservation science, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Proven experience managing teams and their performance.
- Experience developing and maintaining professional networks.
- Full-time position.
- Opportunity to work on a dynamic team.
- Australian citizenship.
- Security clearance at a Negative Vetting 1 clearance level.
