**About the opportunity**
The Digital Archivist is accountable for the following measurable outcomes:
- Ingest of digital collection material, enabling collection preservation
- Creation, enhancement and maintenance of collection metadata, supporting collection preservation and discoverability
- Supporting the implementation of the Library's Digital Preservation Framework and relevant policies, tools, workflows and processes
- Supporting the creation of standard operating procedures to ensure the long-term safekeeping of digital assets through the delivery of innovative solutions
**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. information management, records management, information systems or database management (required).
- Experience developing documentation and delivering training for processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of archival practice, including the description and arrangement of collections.
- An understanding of copyright, donor restrictions, privacy and permissions issues related to processing born-digital original materials (desirable).
