About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for an ambitious and fashion-forward individual to join our product development team as a Fashion Product Assistant. As part of this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the Buyer to support the product development cycle.

Key responsibilities include demonstrating an understanding of fashion trends aligned to our customer base, communicating creative input and suggestions to the product being developed, and providing input on garment construction, fabrics, and their performance in styling and durability.

You will also be required to administer tasks associated with managing critical path, prepare reports and products for weekly sales meetings, attend fit sessions, liaise with suppliers, and communicate regularly with store teams and departments.

Requirements
  • A relevant education in Design, Buying, or Merchandise, or a Business/Commercial degree
  • Previous experience as a Buying Assistant in a fashion retail environment is desirable
  • A passion for product and growing in this field
  • Sound knowledge and proficiency in MS Suite
  • Experience in managing administration tasks
  • A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable nature
