We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary Allied Health team at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem, located in Caulfield, Victoria.

About the Role

">

You will work in our NDIS Provider Service, providing home-based Speech Pathology support to adults with progressive neurological diseases, including Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Huntington's disease.

Your key responsibilities will include:

">
  • ">
  • Providing comprehensive Speech Pathology support in line with participants' stated NDIS goals, to optimise quality of life and function at home.">
  • Working closely with the NDIS Provider Service Allied Health Staff, Bethlehem clinical staff, and other external key stakeholders to provide a collaborative service to participants and their families.">
  • Prescribing AAC (high and low tech) and writing funding applications.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will have:

">
  • ">
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.">
  • An NDIS Worker Check.">
  • A current Victorian driving licence.">
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.">
  • Experience in progressive neurological disease management (including MND and Huntington's Disease).">
  • An ability to work autonomously and within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, including proven interpersonal and communication skills.">
  • Dysphagia management experience is essential.">
  • Experience with AAC and multi-modal communication is essential.">
