We are seeking experienced psychologists to join our team as clinicians in a specialist program area of Corrections Victoria.
As a clinician, you will work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, playing a vital role in reducing reoffending and making the community safer.
This opportunity allows for maximum flexibility for career planning, with applications open throughout the year.
The position involves delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment, working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model.
- Key responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparing treatment plans and reports.
- Registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Current driver license
- Specialized induction program for new clinical staff
- Exposure to national and international experts in forensic work
- Mental health and wellbeing care
- Supervision by senior clinical staff
