About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team at Red Hat Asia-Pacific PTY. LTD. in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our Sales team, you will play a critical role in guiding the growth and development of our Enterprise business in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of our customers' business goals, technical objectives, and IT environments.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Partner Ecosystem teams to assess the potential application of Red Hat and Partner solutions.
- Provide pre-sales technical leadership for the development and implementation of complex solutions and services.
- Develop strategic relationships with our customers to become a trusted advisor.
- Deliver proof of value to our customers and partners through presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and pilot projects.
- Research and write responses to technical sections of RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Coordinate the technical efforts of other Red Hat resources, such as Product Specialists, Support, and Professional Services.
- Deliver compelling recommendations that result in the closing of new sales.
- Own and meet a bookings quota and perform regular reviews and reports about the opportunities you are working on.
- Share your expertise by contributing to documentation, developing reusable assets, and presenting at conferences and industry events.
Requirements
- 5 years of pre-sales, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent experience in support of enterprise accounts.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following tools: Kubernetes, Automation, Public Cloud (AWS/Azure), UNIX, and Linux systems.
- Skilled in presenting to small and large groups of mixed audiences, including business, technical, management, and leadership teams.
- Experienced in developing relationships at engineering, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprise IT organizations.
- Experienced with modern and emerging technologies, including public and private cloud, container orchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevSecOps, and CI/CD, and modern application frameworks.
- Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures.
- Collaboration with others and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
- Any Red Hat certification.
- Experience or certification with any public cloud provider.
