Cost Controller - Mining Operations

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our team and contribute to the success of our mining operations. As a key member of our cost control function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely project reporting.

As a Site Cost Controller, you will be responsible for managing project costs, reviewing and consolidating data, updating and monitoring cost curves, and performing scheduling when required. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Reviewing and consolidating project data, updating and monitoring cost curves, and performing scheduling when required
  • Supporting project reporting and package engineers on cost status inquiries and reports
  • Tracking and analysing all costs across the business, consistently conducting regular reviews and audits
  • Reviewing and adjusting project control guidelines, procedures, and reports
  • Providing accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a mining or resource industry context.
