Our team of experienced analysts and traders work collaboratively to identify investment opportunities, provide in-depth analysis, and develop trade ideas. As an Equity Analyst on our Research team, you will play a key role in this process, working closely with our senior analysts and traders to drive results.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline, distinction average WAM, from an Australian or New Zealand University
  • Prior exposure to fundamental company research preferred
  • Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products preferred
  • Working knowledge of all major asset classes beneficial but not required
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems

The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equity Analyst to join our Research team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying catalyst events, performing stock valuation analysis, collaborating with derivative traders on investment ideas, providing real-time opinions on breaking news, forecasting dividends, evaluating special situations, and travelling to company events as required.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
