The RoleWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate Multiskilled Domestic to join our team at Juniper St David's facility in Mount Lawley. As a key member of our care team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and providing person-centered care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present breakfast, lunch, and dinner to residents
- Provide kitchen hand services, including food preparation and accurate apportioning
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in cooking areas and equipment
- Perform cleaning services, including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, and dusting
- Handle residents' laundry, ensuring proper washing and return of clothing
- Manage bed linen, ensuring it is laundered and labeled correctly
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures
- Understanding of infection control
- Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
