Deployment Role

You will be working in pairs at hospitals located in Cairns, delivering IT services and ensuring seamless deployments of hardware and software solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include following technical scopes of work, building or reimaging Dell/HP desktops and laptops, and providing post-installation support to end users.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Following a technical scope of work such as a deployment checklist
  • Build or reimage Dell/HP desktops and laptops
  • Work with mobile devices such as phones, PDA's and other devices
  • Provide post installation support to end users and help confirm the functionality of applications and settings

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

  • Previous experience in a Deployment role or similar
  • Familiar with mobile devices, Windows 7, 10 and 11 Operating systems
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • A good communicator with end users and stakeholders
  • Adhere to Queensland Health Facial Hair commitment due to PPE fitment requirements
  • Wear PPE as described and provided by Queensland Health

Personal Qualities:

Most importantly, you must have a positive attitude, good customer service skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities. Good time management, communication, and collaboration skills are also important, along with the ability to work independently.
