Key Responsibilities
  • Be a visible and trusted advisor to senior leaders on people-related issues, providing guidance and support.
  • Facilitate opportunities across the organization to engage and collaborate with others to develop joint solutions.
  • Participate and actively contribute to PCC strategic planning and initiatives.
  • Oversee, manage, and guide direct reports to deliver a reliable and responsive PCC function, across all BAU administrative activities including talent acquisition, payroll, reward and recognition, performance management, employee engagement, and employee relations.
  • Drive the design of equitable workplace systems, policies, and practices that enable individuals to contribute to their best ability.
  • Provide support to managers and employees in relation to the management of performance issues.
  • Enhance the AGPC brand to attract quality candidates and promote the organization as an employer of choice.
  • Responsible for senior-level talent acquisition and interview process.
  • Manage the delivery of staff briefing events for the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and the Motorcycle Grand Prix.
  • Oversee the event deliverables for the PCC team, including event-related talent acquisition.
Requirements
  • Degree or Post Graduate qualifications in Human Resources or 15+ years of hands-on experience in generalist HR roles.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating and partnering with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience in grievance and dispute management.
  • A current Police Check and Employee Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
