This is a fixed term, full-time appointment that will run until December 2026. The role is classified at level 6/7 and the salary range is $88,865 - $110,039.

About the Role

The Data Management Specialist will play a pivotal role within the Data and Analytics Division, driving the implementation of this project. Responsibilities include overseeing the setup and testing of data classification and loss prevention systems, liaising with vendors, and coordinating incident responses in collaboration with the cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering targeted training sessions to ensure all staff understand their responsibilities for best practice data management.
  • Supporting the implementation of data cataloguing tools and ensuring the accuracy of the Information Asset Register.
  • Facilitating the ongoing review and communication of the Data Management Framework.
