The Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the University of Wollongong's (UOW) whole-of-enterprise (controlled entities) data and analytics vision and strategy and embedding a data-based decision-making culture across the organisation. The CDAO will oversee the collection, management, and storage of data across the organisation, and is responsible for analysing and deriving insights from data to inform strategic decision making and value creation.
Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Strategy and Assurance), the CDAO will lead a new Data and Analytics Division and will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation in ensure data is used effectively to track and assist in the delivery of the strategic goals.
