**About This Role**:
SKY BLUE IT is an established IT Service provider that supports Small to Medium Businesses within the Sydney Metropolitan Area. Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated I.T technician to join our small family-run business as an integral part of our team.

In this role, you will be reporting to and working alongside the Senior Technician to provide I.T support to a wide variety of clients. You will be responsible for handling IT-related tasks and projects from start to finish. You will be expected to work independently and demonstrate a high level of autonomy. You will utilise our ticketing system to efficiently manage and prioritise incoming requests, ensuring prompt resolution for our valued clients. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be engaging with clients to book onsite visits when necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot, diagnose and provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support solutions.
- Communicate with clients to schedule and coordinate remote support or onsite support as needed (Our office is based in Kellyville, however, regular travel to client sites around the Sydney Metropolitan area is required).
- Manage helpdesk ticket support system including creating, maintaining, and resolving tickets in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Set up, install and configure various I.T software, hardware and other peripherals which may also include Telecommunications.
- Perform regular system maintenance and ensure data backups are up to date.
- Keep up-to-date documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of providing Level 1 and/or Level 2 technical support.
- Experience with HP & Microsoft Surface Hardware
- Experience with Networking with LAN, DNS, IP, Wi-fi, Routing and Firewalling
- Experience with Microsoft Software - Windows 10\11 & Apple environments, including Mac OS, iOS
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration & Support

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and managing IT requests.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
