Senior Forensic Mental Health Specialist

The Senior Psychologist works on a unit with mentally disordered patients/prisoners as a member of the team.
The Senior Psychologist provides clinical psychological expertise to services at the unit.
Duties:- Provide psychological services including advice on managing patient/prisoner issues to other clinicians.
- Conduct specialist assessments and reports where necessary.
- Contribute to patient/prisoner risk management plans with the team.
- Listed as a registered supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia, AHPRA.
- Endorsement or eligibility for endorsement by AHPRA in clinical and/or forensic psychology.
- Experience in providing high-level services in forensic mental health settings.
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited course or equivalent.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).
