Network Infrastructure Specialist

We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team in ensuring the high availability and performance of our network infrastructure.
Job Description:- This role involves monitoring and managing network traffic to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent them.
- Troubleshooting network problems using analytical skills and technical knowledge is a key aspect of this position.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and improve network performance is essential.
- This role requires developing and maintaining technical documentation to share knowledge and best practices within the team.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance network efficiency and reliability is a critical part of this role.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of technical networking experience, preferably in an ISP or large Enterprise environment.
- A strong understanding of networking protocols, including IPv4 and IPv6, CG-NAT, MPLS, IPSEC, Segment Routing, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, EVPN, VRF, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS.
- Excellent active and passive network troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience with Cisco ASR9k routers, Cisco NCS routers, Juniper routers, EVPN, EIGRP, Fortinet firewalls, Fortinet CG-NAT and Corero DDoS Protection is desirable.
- Experience with network monitoring and ITSM systems and tools, e.g., LogicMonitor is preferred.
- Relevant vendor certifications, e.g., Cisco CCNA, Juniper JCNA, Fortinet NSE, ITIL 4, Network Security certs are advantageous.
