The Role
We seek an analytical professional with strong relationship-building skills to support project delivery as a Resource Coordinator at our Dandenong depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring resource utilization data and collaborating with finance partners for comprehensive time-writing and performance reports
- Managing and maintaining depot inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock of PPE and essential materials
- Developing and tracking detailed resource forecasts and providing strategic input for project estimation and planning activities
- Coordinating training teams for up-to-date certifications and qualifications
- Implementing and overseeing training plans to maintain required operator licenses across fleet, plant, and equipment
- Facilitating timesheet and payroll processing while ensuring compliance with administrative requirements
- Overseeing inductions for new personnel and adhering to HR protocols and company standards
- Supporting HSEQ initiatives through monitoring safety attitudes and participation in relevant training programs
- Contributing to continuous improvement through lessons learned workshops and implementation of best practices
About You
We require experience from the utility construction sector combining analytical capabilities with strong relationship-building skills. Emotional intelligence and proactive approach are key drivers of successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office applications especially database management and Excel skills for effective data analysis and reporting
- Well-developed planning and organizational abilities to support project delivery and customer focus
- Building relationships through authentic communication and developed emotional intelligence
- Contributing to organizational growth through innovative thinking and value-based decision making
- Extensive contractor industry experience preferably in the utility sector across roles such as planning scheduling or field operations
- Strong communication skills for influencing and facilitating change
- Administrative process management and documentation accuracy
- Able to work from the depot at least two days per week
