Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Optical Dispenser to join our team. As an Optical Dispenser, you will be responsible for delivering high-level customer service and providing personalized optical services in a professional environment.

You will work closely with customers to understand their eye care needs and provide them with expert advice on the best products to meet those needs. You will also be responsible for operating cash registers, managing inventory, and ensuring that displays are merchandised appropriately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service and advice
  • Suggest products that meet customers' needs and close sales
  • Explain how products work and demonstrate their use
  • Commit to regular training
  • Operate cash registers and EFTPOS facilities
  • Manage inventory and ensure displays are merchandised appropriately
  • Work at different locations if required
Requirements
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent personal and professional presentation
  • Energetic and dedicated to exceptional customer service
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Willingness to supply or undergo a police check prior to commencement
  • A Certificate IV in Optical Dispensing or a willingness to undertake relevant on-the-job training
