Job Description: Senior Operations AnalystAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Markets Operations Specialist to join our client, a global trading firm focused on equity and equity derivative products as well as ETFs.

As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This includes position reconciliations, trade capture, and profit and loss estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile positions and trades to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Produce nightly profit and loss estimates and reconcile with the front office.
  • Handle corporate actions, including booking and reconciliation requirements.
  • Liaise with external parties to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Contribute to system improvements to streamline daily processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 7 years' experience working in financial markets operations.
  • A thorough understanding of equity and equity derivative products.
  • Working knowledge of Asian financial markets and Bloomberg.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
