Senior Personal Care Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Personal Care Worker to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care to older Australians.

As a Senior Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care that supports our residents' independence and dignity.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care that supports our residents' independence and dignity.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions, providing timely updates to the care team.
  • Provide education and support to new staff members on our care policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Nursing, or related health/care studies.
  • Experience as a Personal Care Assistant-Assistant in Nursing (PCA-AIN) in aged care is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, responding appropriately to emergency situations.
