Postgraduate Research Fellow - Intensive Care Medicine
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality service delivery in a specialist healthcare setting. The successful candidate will operate at a consultant level, participating in established Clinical Research and Clinical Governance Programs.
About the Role- We seek a highly skilled professional with experience in delivering high-quality service in Intensive Care Medicine, research, and quality improvement activities.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven capacity for teaching, effective communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
The role involves contributing to personal development and growth aligned with developing research and audit projects that augment the Research and Clinical Governance Program. You will work closely with the Director of Research and the Research Team to define learning objectives and discrete tasks for the year.
Responsibilities- Participate in the established Clinical Research and Clinical Governance Program in the Department of Intensive Care Medicine.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of research projects and audits pertinent to the departmental Research and Clinical Governance program.
- Collaborate with the Director of Research and the Research Team to define learning objectives and discrete tasks for the year.
- Liaise with referring Consultants or their Advanced Trainees/Fellows regarding patient management.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Fellowship of or eligibility for Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (FCICM) and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for by the Health Insurance Act 1973 and the relevant Award/Determination.
- Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices.
