Inventory Management Specialist

This is a hands-on role responsible for managing stock movements from location to location and within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have high levels of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of records and maintaining stock within expiry periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily physical stock counts to ensure no thefts and assist with loss prevention.
  • Maintain accurate inventory batch/short expiry records.
  • Log all inventory purchases, receive stock into the warehouse, and process invoices.
  • Manage stock movements from location to location, ensuring at all times the physical stock location matches that within the inventory management system.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse manager, supervisor, and purchasing manager on expected stock levels, stock arrival calendar, issues, and problem-solving.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced computer processing skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work at pace, multitask, and alternate between rolling your sleeves and contributing strategically.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret productivity and resource management data.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing priorities.
