Job Description

We are seeking a skilled engineer to support and improve our automated systems and processes. This role involves deploying, maintaining and enhancing electronic and computer control systems including robots and NC machine tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechatronic engineering and experience in continuous improvement principles and practices. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide timely support and resolution of production issues with existing equipment and processes. Guide resources required to keep equipment operational and identify corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve process cycle time, quality and availability for complex production machines.
  • Manage projects within new automated production equipment implementation and lead continuous improvement through the lifecycle.
  • Participate in formal design reviews and provide input into manufacturing strategy and development of automation.
