Role Overview:

The role of a Carpentry Trainer and Assessor is to provide high-quality training and assessment services to students in the field of carpentry.

This involves delivering comprehensive training programs that meet the needs of students and industry, as well as assessing student competence against relevant standards and certification requirements.

As a qualified trainer, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of construction carpentry and a passion for mentoring and passing on your expertise to the next generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs that cater to the needs of students and industry
  • Assess student competence against relevant standards and certification requirements
  • Mentor and support students to achieve their full potential

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220)
  • Certificate II in Construction (CPC20220)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122)
  • Recent industry currency relevant to the industry being taught
  • Ability to travel to student workplaces when necessary
