**Therapy Services Coordinator**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Therapy Services Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality therapy services to children and adults with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration. They will also possess knowledge of strengths-based practice, family and person-centred approaches, and experience delivering evidence-based therapy to a paediatric, adolescent, and/or adult caseload.
The role involves working collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, managing a caseload and administrative responsibilities in an autonomous, efficient, and effective manner. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication skills – written, oral, and listening.
The position offers regular peer supervision, access to wider peer support from our clinical services teams across NSW, QLD & the ACT, pool cars available, and opportunities for learning and career advancement.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality therapy services to children and adults with disabilities within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Manage a paediatric and mixed caseload with complex and varied needs, working with customers of all ages, their families and carers to identify strengths, skills, and goals.
- Use appropriate assessment tools and methods to assess strengths and areas of development, in order to identify suitable intervention strategies.
- Deliver therapy in a variety of environments, e.g. centre based, schools/preschools, group homes, homes, and via telehealth.
- Contribute proactively to the ongoing development of professional knowledge and skills within the Occupational Therapy profession.
- Champion and promote organisational values; 'innovative, respectful, and brave'.
