Early Intervention Psychologist

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families by providing early intervention and therapy services as an Early Intervention Psychologist at our organisation.

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Psiychologist to join our team, who can provide evidence-based therapy interventions and resources to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation. As an Early Intervention Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical assessments, developing functional goals with clients and families, and providing ongoing education and support.

About the Role:

  • Conduct standardised clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need
  • Develop functional, routine-based goals with clients and families
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions and resources
  • Review progress and set new priorities in collaboration with clients and families
  • Support inclusion and participation in community activities

About You:

">

To be successful in this role, you will require:

">
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA
  • A passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families
  • The ability to provide counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents
  • Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments (desired)
