About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for ensuring robust planning processes are in place to manage material availability in line with operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase request analysis to ensure they are processable in line with planning needs.
  • Purchase order processing and managing suppliers' deliveries according to Production / Operations / Installation / Repairs requirements.
  • Deliveries follow-up and expediting.
  • Sharing information on deliveries to key stakeholders at site level (Planning, Sourcing) in order to detect potential missing parts and manage crisis in case of delivery issues.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Supply Chain certification is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office & SAP.
  • Rolling Stock background experience is highly desirable.
