**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a Senior Base Pilot to lead our dynamic team of pilots based in Cairns. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and guiding a team of line pilots at various bases, operating our modern fleet of aircraft.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide a team of line pilots at Cairns, Mt Isa, and Horn Island bases.
  • Operate our modern fleet of Beechcraft King Air B360 turboprops and Caravan aircraft.
  • Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our fleet to ensure essential aviation support is provided to our partner agencies.

**Requirements:

  • Australian Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)
  • Multi Engine Command Instrument Rating - 4 renewals
  • Minimum 3000 hours total time
  • Minimum 2000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • Minimum 400 hours Night PIC
  • Minimum 400 hours Multi-Engine PIC
  • Minimum 400 hours Turbine PIC
  • Hold or be eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
  • Current Class 1 Aviation Medical
  • Hold a current Australian passport
