This role offers the opportunity to work with our Civil Design team in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Trainee Civil Designer, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of Council's Capital Works Program through the provision of civil design services.

About the Role:

">

You will be working closely with our experienced designers to develop skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and the completion of a recognised tertiary course in Civil Design.

">

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the provision of civil design services, including developing designs for road and drainage projects, managing consultants during the design phase, and providing advice and information during consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and the completion of a recognised tertiary course in Civil Design
  • Civil Design advice to internal and external stakeholders as advised by the Team Leader and Senior Civil Designer
">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated commitment to the completion of a Diploma of Civil Construction Design and an understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) principles. Additionally, you will need to have access to reliable transport for attendance at both work and external training providers and be able to work in a team environment.
