The Opportunity
- Pitching, developing and creating engaging content for morning television.
- Generating story ideas and identifying high-quality guests.
- Responding to the news cycle including generating same-day content.
- Ensuring all production elements meet a high standard through to broadcast.
This role requires an experienced producer with a passion for storytelling. They must possess exceptional interpersonal skills, flexibility, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience in a producing role, in a radio or television newsroom.
- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for accuracy.
- Ability to respond to breaking news.
- Contribution of innovative ideas and a passion for compelling television content.
- Solid understanding of media law and ethics.
Morning producers create engaging content for television audiences. This involves developing and pitching new ideas, working with guests, and ensuring a smooth broadcast.
