Youth Development Officer

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Youth Support Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about empowering young people, building strong connections, and supporting their wellbeing and success.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a genuine interest in supporting students' learning outcomes.
About the Role:- Identify barriers to young people achieving outcomes and refer to appropriate support services.
- Maintain records of student contact on a daily basis.
- Support students to achieve satisfactory learning outcomes.
- Develop and monitor post-program support as required to meet program performance criteria.
- Develop and foster relationships between families of students and the school to assist at-risk students to remain engaged with education or training.
Key Responsibilities:
- To identify and address barriers to student learning and achievement.
- To maintain accurate records of student contact and progress.
- To provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
- To develop and implement strategies to support students who require additional assistance.
- To build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and carers.
