Job Description

Knoxfield Kindergarten is a leading provider of early childhood education and care, committed to delivering exceptional services that meet the needs of children, families, and communities.

We are expanding into the Knox region and are seeking staff to make a positive impact on young lives. Our kindergarten features two large outdoor spaces, abundant natural resources, and undercover play areas.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating an inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will work closely with a passionate team to develop and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

This is a permanent role with a variety of hours available, including Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:15 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays from 11:45 am to 2:15 pm. We offer competitive employment conditions, a uniform allowance, and First Aid training.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An ACCEQA-recognized Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for child care and protection
  • A Current Working with Children Check
  • A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Regulations (2011), and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
